Seminar Nasional Himpunan Mahasiswa Teknik Komputer 2019

Seminar nasional yang diselenggarakan oleh himpunan teknik komputer pada hari minggu 24 November 2019 di Auditorium Telkom University mendapatkan respon positif dari para pengunjung. Seminar yang mengusung tema “How to Become Young Entrepreneur Using Technology in Digital Era” mengundang para narasumber yang inspiratif. Ketiga narasumber yang mengisi acara seminar kali ini ialah dr. Tirtha Mandira Hudhi yang merupakan CEO Shoes and Care Indonesia & CMO Tukutu Indonesia ,  Aries Dwiartanto yang merupakan Product Lead at DANA Indonesia dan Alif Akbar Iskandar yang merupakan AI Scientist and Engineer at Bukalapak. Topik yang diangkat dalam seminar ialah Creative Marketing, Cashless payment , dan AI in E-commerce. Acara yang dibuka oleh Kepala Program Studi Teknik Komputer yaitu Umar Ali Ahmad , ST, MT, Phd memberikan pengalaman bagi para pengunjung untuk mengenal dunia enterepreneur.

APWiMob 2015

APWiMob is international event in Asia Pacific designed for audience working in the wireless communications and mobile technology communities. As the Asia Pacific conference focusing on wireless and mobile technologies, APWiMob is very suitable for wireless communications and mobile researchers, industry professionals, and academics interested in the latest development and design of wireless systems and mobile technologies.

Workshop Menembus Jurnal Internasional

Bandung, Tel-U. Salah satu langkah untuk meningkatkan jumlah dosen untuk meraih Jabatan Fungsional Akademik (JFA)di lingkungan Fakultas Teknik Elektro (FTE) Tel-U, dengan mengadakan workshop mengenai bagaimana membuat publikasi hingga tembus Jurnal Internasional. Seluruh dosen FTE beserta dosen dari berbagai fakultas di Tel-U ikut menghadiri acara ini, yang bertempat di Gedung Barung pada Kamis (16/10). Mendatangkan pembicara seorang Professor of Computer Engineering dari Universitas Indonesia yaitu Prof. Dr. Ir. Riri Fitri Sari, M.Sc.,MM.

Salah satu syarat agar seorang dosen dapat meraih atau kenaikan tingkat JFA dari Dikti yaitu dengan mempublikasikan jurnal ilmiah. Diharapkan para dosen ini dapat membuat jurnal tidak hanya di tingkat nasional namun jurnal internasional. Karya ilmiah di jurnal internasional yang diusulkan dalam kenaikan jabatan akan di periksa apakah terindeks di laman Thomson ISI Knowledge atau di Scopus SJR Journal Ranking atau Microsoft academic search. Apabila ditemukan di salah satu laman tersebut maka akan memenuhi kriteria sebagai jurnal internasional.

Dibutuhkan pelatihan trik dan tips penulisan jurnal atau publikasi ilmiah internasional yang sangat diperlukan karena pada saat ini di di kalangan FTE masih sedikit dosen yang telah menembus jurnal internasional. Seperti kata Dr. Rina Pudji Astuti selaku dekan FTE dalam sambutannya “Ini momen yang berharga untuk sharing dengan Prof. Riri mengenai bagaimana dapat menembus jurnal internasional serta meningkatkan kemampuan seseorang dalam menulis tanpa stres.”

Jurnal internasional tidak hanya untuk JFA semata tapi juga untuk cangkupan universitas agar menjadi ranking world class university. “Masalah utama yang banyak saya temui di berbagai universitas di indonesia untuk menuju world class university itu dari jumlah publikasi dosen yang masih minim” kata Prof. Riri. Beliau menyarankan untuk mengikuti sistematika/organisasi penulisan yang benar dan ikuti aturan yang ada dalam melakukan penelitian di bidang teknologi dan mempublikasikannya. Publikasi jurnal internasional yang diterbitkan di sejumlah jurnal yang kredibel dengan jumlah yang signifikan, berkualitas tinggi dengan kebaruan atau inovasi tiada henti dan bermanfaat secara langsung umumnya kepada masyarakat merupakan suatu aset pula bagi universitas. Kebiasaan menulis terutama menulis ilmiah merupakan budaya unggul yang harus dimiliki dosen, selain mengajar dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. (Ramdi/Sekpim FTE)

International Conference on Control, Electronics, Renewable Energy, and Communications 2015 (ICCEREC 2015).

ICCEREC 2015 is organized by the international organizing committee of ICCEREC and is technical co-sponsored by the IEEE Communications Society Chapter Indonesia and RAS/ CSS (Robotics & Automations Society and Control System Society) Joint Chapter, so that ICCEREC has a strong foundation of bringing together industry and academia.

This conference provides an international forum for researchers, academicians, professionals, and students from various engineering fields and with cross-disciplinary interests in control, industrial automation, bio-medical electronics, renewable energy, and machine-to-machine communications to interact and disseminate information on the latest developments.

Prospective authors are invited to submit original technical papers for presentation at the conference. Accepted papers will be published in the ICCEREC 2015 Conference Proceedings and presented papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore.

PUBLICATION
Prospective authors are invited to submit original technical papers for presentation at the conference and publication in the conference proceedings. At least one author of each accepted papers must register for the conference to be included in the program. Accepted papers will be published in the ICCEREC 2015 Conference Proceedings and presented papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore.

 

PUBLICATION POLICIES
To ensure appropriate consideration of conflicts of interest during the review process, the ComSoc prohibits changes to the list of authors once a paper has been submitted for review during review, revision, or (if accepted) -final publication. The author list may be changed only prior to the submission deadline.
To be published in the ICCEREC Conference Proceedings, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference at the full (member or non-member) rate and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference unless the TPC Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance of the event and who is quailed both to present and answer questions. Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper. Accepted and presented papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore.

IOS Seminar 2014

IOS (Interaktive Overclocking Seminars) merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang mengupas seluk beluk overclocking mulai dari perkembangan teknologi terkini hingga mini kompetisi Overclocking. Acara ini di persembahkan oleh Laboratorium Sistem Komputer untuk para mahasiswa universitas Telkom yang berlokasi di Multimedia Learning Center Universitas Telkom, Sabtu (22/11/2014).

Harapan saya setelah acara ini diselenggarakan, dapat terus dikembangkan minat dibidang Overclocking. Semoga dapat terbentuk komunitas Overclocking yang berada di bawah Prodi Sistem Komputer dan didukung oleh berbagai pihak baik khususnya dalam bentuk perangkat”, tutur Aziz Maulana Arham selaku Ketua Panitia IOS 2014.

Acara ini dihadiri oleh Kaprodi Sistem Komputer Bapak M.Nasrun,Ssi.,M.T., beberapa dosen prodi Sistem Komputer, perwakilan dari pihak P.T ASUSINDO SERVISTAMA dan Telkom PDC, serta para peserta dari berbagai jurusan Universitas Telkom. Dalam sambutannya Bapak M.Nasrun,Ssi.,M.T. mengatakan bahawa ”Kami dari pihak Prodi sangat mendukung kegiatan seperti ini. Kegiatan ini harus terus dikembangkan. Para mahasiswa Prodi Sistem Komputer kedepannya diharapkan dapat berperan langsung dalam mendesain perangkat PC yang lebih baik lagi.”

Pada sesi 1 acara ini dikemas dalam bentuk seminar yang dibuka oleh perwakilan dari P.T ASUSINDO SERVISTAMA yaitu Bapak Setyo Ryanto yang juga membicarakan lini-lini produk motherboard ASUS yang teknologinya update. Kemudian pemaparan yang lebih mendalam mengenai “Techno Update dan Haswell Overview” disampaikan oleh Bapak Rekky yang merupakan salah satu master Overclocking di Indonesia, salah satu prestasinya adalah Juara MOA (Master Overclocking Arena) 2008 di Taipei. Dalam seminar ini ditunjukkan update dari teknologi komputer dan teknologi prosessor terbaru yaitu Haswell-E. Output dari sesi seminar yaitu peserta dapat memiliki gambaran umum tentang perkembangan komputer dan dapat mengoptimasi kinerja komputer sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna.

Talkshow yang ada pada sesi selanjutnya menghadirkan tim OC 44 sebagai narasumber yang kemampuanya juga teruji pada kejuaraan overclocking nasional yaitu event AOCT (Ameteur Overclocking Tournament). Anggota tim OC44 yang adalah Pasha Aulia, R.Bayu.S dan Ivan Dwi L. Pada talkshow kali ini membicarakan bagaimana cara menjadi seorang overclocker dan juga teknik-teknik yang diperlukan. Pada acara Talkshow kali ini juga terdapat demo untuk menunjukan cara overclocking yang di pandu oleh Pasha Aulia dan Hendika yang juga merupakan anggota tim OC 44.

Acara seminar yang dimulai dari pukul 08.00 WIB ini memasuki sesi yang terakhir yaitu sesi Demo Extreme dan juga mini kompetisi. Disesi ini antusias peserta sangat meningkat karena terdapat demo Overclocking dengan menggunakan liquid nitrogen sebagai pendingin tambahan karena proses overclocking yang sangat tinggi. Demo ini dipandu oleh Bapak Rekky dan Anggota tim OC44 yaitu R.Bayu.S dan Adnan. Demo ini menggunakan perangkat motherboard ASUS ROG Z97 Maximus series yang mempunyai kemampuan overclocking dan gaming yang baik, Processor yang digunakan intel Pentium anniversary edition, Ram Team Dark 8Gb, HSF Enermax serta PSU Enermax 500W. Kemudian acara dilanjutkan dengan mini kompetisi bagi para peserta IOS 2014. Banyak sekali peserta yang ingin mengikuti mini kompetisi ini, namun hanya 8 perserta terpilih yang berhak mingikutinya. Kedelapan pesererta dibagi dalam 4 tim dan didampingin oleh perwakilan tim OC 44. Dalam kompetisi ini, tidak hanya para peserta yang antusias, para penonton juga dibuat penasaran ingin mengetahui siapa pemenang dari kompetisi ini. Setelah 45 menit berlalu maka pemenang dari kompetisi ini adalah Respatiadi dan Indrawan Risangaji. (hanu/dewi/Lab Sk)
